Gordon & Rees Introduces Regional Leadership Structure in Northern California

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani has continued to grow both geographically and in terms of its core offerings as a result of the firm's 50 state platform, now positioned to provide clients with exceptional service nationwide. This growth has propelled it into the ranks of the 25 largest firms in the United States by domestic attorney headcount (per Law360), and into the Am Law 100 (per American Lawyer). Accompanying this growth the firm has adapted its leadership structure within the key Northern California market.

Adam Sugarman has moved into the newly created role of Managing Partner, Northern California, where he will have strategic oversight of firm's operations across the region, including the San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento, and Fresno offices. Sugarman has successfully served in the Bay Area Office Managing Partner role for the last five years. His forward-thinking leadership helped drive San Francisco and Oakland to new heights despite and throughout the pandemic.  He will now focus on leading the firm's increasingly unified efforts across Northern California, in addition to his other management duties.

Marie Trimble Holvick has transitioned into the role of Managing Partner, Bay Area offices.  Holvick demonstrated the skill and readiness for this challenge while serving as Assistant Office Managing Partner for the Bay Area (2017-2022). She will be assisted by Partner, Lindsey Romano, who assumes the role as Assistant Office Managing Partner, Bay Area offices.  Romano has distinguished herself as an exceptional and dedicated leader and is a welcome addition to the firm's leadership team.

Partners Kathy Rhoads and Talia Delanoy will continue their steady leadership in the roles of Managing Partner and Assistant Office Managing Partner of the firm's Sacramento office, working under the firm’s Northern California umbrella.

Throughout this growth, Gordon & Rees has maintained its steadfast commitment to diversity and inclusion, continuing to climb among the ranks of the top 40 firms for diverse attorneys and top 15 firms for female attorneys as recognized by Law360

Gordon & Rees provides comprehensive litigation and business transactions services to its clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations.
