Joseph T. Rivera, Jr. Appointed to Second Term as Deputy Regional President of New York Hispanic National Bar Association

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani is proud to announce that Joseph T. Rivera, Jr. has been appointed to a second term as a Deputy Regional President for the New York Region of the Hispanic National Bar Association ("HNBA").  Rivera was sworn in on January 31, 2022 by Judge Rolando T. Acosta, Presiding Justice of the New York State Supreme Court’s Appellate Division, First Department. In this role, Rivera will continue to assist the Regional President by coordinating voter registration/education efforts, community outreach initiatives, networking opportunities, collaborating with other bar associations and much more. 

Founded in 1972, the HNBA is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, national membership organization that represents the interests of Hispanic legal professionals throughout the United States and its territories.  HNBA is committed to advocacy on issues of importance to the 58 million people of Hispanic heritage living in the U.S.

Rivera is a Senior Counsel in the Product & General Liability practice group where he focuses his practice on defending foreign manufacturers, distributors and retailers, including various Fortune 500 companies, in complex commercial product liability actions in federal and state courts throughout the United States and Canada.
