Managing Partner Leslie K. Eason will present for the National Business Institute's ("NBI") live webinar entitled "What's Happening in Human Resource Law - Fall 2023 Update" to be held on October 24, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Eastern.
This program focuses on recent changes to HR law. In her sessions, Ms. Eason will discuss updates regarding wage and hour law, #MeToo, pay transparency laws, the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, the PUMP for Nursing Mothers Act, the Federal Arbitration Act, and case law. She will also explore updates in labor law.
Ms. Eason is Office Co-Managing Partner of the Atlanta office, Office Managing Partner of the Birmingham office, and Office Managing Partner of the Jackson office. She is a member of the firm’s Labor and Employment Law practice groups with admissions in Georgia, Alabama, and California. A particular focus of Ms. Eason’s practice is the representation of clients against wage claims, leave claims, discrimination claims, and disability claims. Ms. Eason regularly counsels employers on hiring practices, terminations, workplace investigations, reductions in workforce issues, and litigation avoidance practices.
