Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani Austin Partners Amy Welborn and Troy Helling and Senior Counsel Taylor Yetter filed a successful Motion for Summary Judgment in Federal Court. The case was a premise liability case in which the firm was represented a prominent national retailer. The plaintiff claimed severe injuries to her arm and wrist and made a demand of over $1 million dollars prior to Gordon & Rees' filing its Motion for Summary Judgment. The firm argued that its client was not on notice of the allegedly dangerous condition of merchandise falling from a wingstack. The court agreed with team's argument and granted its Motion for Summary Judgment and dismissed the case.
